TULSA, Oklahoma -- A News On 6 anchor used her bowling skills for a good cause.

When the "Kids Bowl Free" bus tour rolled into Tulsa back in April, members of the media were invited to bowl for their favorite charity.

Six in the Morning Anchor LeAnne Taylor and her son, Nick, put on their bowling shoes and joined others at Andy B's for the competition.

After the tour went all over America, the top scores were tallied and the winners announced. LeAnne and Nick came in number one.

For their efforts, they were presented a $2,500 check for the Tulsa Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure to help patients in Tulsa battling breast cancer. As a 7-year survivor, LeAnne was honored to make the donation.

The Komen Race for the Cure is coming up soon. Get more information on how to join on LeAnne's Story.
