GRAND LAKE, Oklahoma -- Grand Lake conditions continue to improve nearly a month after a green algae outbreak virtually closed the lake off to visitors.
The Grand River Dam Authority says a recent test found no toxins in the water.
The agency continues to monitor conditions, but say they have seen steady improvements since a swimming ban was lifted July 13, 2011.

The ban took its toll on Grand Lake business. Profits were down as much as 75 percent at some places compared to last year.
Although it appears the green algae outbreak may have ran its course, the GRDA warns visitors to avoid areas where the water looks contaminated.
