TULSA, Oklahoma -- A 29-year-old Tulsa man is in jail after Tulsa Police arrested him in connection with the robbery of a Subway restaurant at 11607 East 31st Street.

After getting a description of the suspect, police determined he was the same man who robbed another Subway in the 12000 block of 41st Street on Monday.

A witness told officers she recognized the suspect's car and told them where he lived.

Tulsa Police went to an apartment at Bradford Creek Apartments and identified the suspect as Matthew Williams.

While checking the area, officers spotted Williams and arrested him without incident.

Inside Williams' car, police say they found items from both Subway robberies.
