TULSA, Oklahoma -- With temperatures forecasted to be above 100 degrees again this week, you may have run out of ideas to help you stay cool.
Rick Wells was thinking someplace like the Gadget Company might have some stuff you hadn't thought of.
Amy Adkins, the president of the Gadget Company, says people are always looking for something new.
"We have a wide selection of hats," Adkins said.
Some hats let air in; some have a sun protection factor.
The Gadget Company also has a wide selection of five finger shoes. Adkins says they are very, very comfortable.
They've got cups and jugs insulated to keep things cool. One even lasts up to 12 hours.
Then there's an ice cream scoop, but it's a different kind of ice cream scoop. You put warm water in one end. That makes the ice cream easier to get out with the other end.
There's a ball that serves as an ice cream maker. All you have to do is put the ice and rock salt in one end and the ice cream ingredients in the other.
Before you know it, you have ice cream.
Another cool thing is a Yeti Cooler. It keeps ice up to six days. A battery powered bug zapper could be fun or what about an Aqua-Zooka that shoots water up to 60 feet?
The Gadget Company is located at 15th and Boston in downtown Tulsa. It's open every day except Sunday.
