BROKEN ARROW, Oklahoma -- A sleepy driver is being blamed for a crash in east Broken Arrow Tuesday morning.
Broken Arrow Police say at about 6:30 a.m. a Ford Explorer headed west on state Highway 51 near 225th East Avenue, went off the highway across a grassy area and flipped onto its top on some railroad tracks.
Police believe the driver fell asleep causing her to drive off the road.
Both the driver and a passenger were transported to a BA hospital.
There is no word on their conditions, but police don't believe they were seriously injured.
The wreckage was quickly cleaned off the Union Pacific Railroad tracks.
