TULSA, Oklahoma -- Tulsa Police arrested a 23-year-old man for driving under the influence in east Tulsa early Tuesday morning, after he peeled out in a parking lot in front of them.
Police say they saw Daniel Bennett spin his tires and drive off at 31st and Sheridan around 12:30 a.m.
Police followed him to a nearby QuikTrip where they took him into custody.
Once Bennett was placed inside the police car, he tried to kick out the window of the patrol car and shouted a string of obscenities at the News On 6 photographer.
Tulsa Police say the pickup truck he was driving at the time of his arrest had been reported stolen.
Bennett was booked into jail on complaints of DUI, possession of a stolen vehicle and having no driver's license.
