Tulsa Man Dies After Being Struck By Truck While Walking On Turley Street

TULSA, Oklahoma -- A Tulsa man has died after being hit by a pickup truck in Turley late Sunday night.

The crash happened around 9:30 p.m. at 61st Street North and North Peoria.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Walter Daniel Holman, Jr. was pushing a grocery cart southbound in the middle of Peoria.  The OHP says he was not wearing any kind of reflective clothing.

EMSA rushed Holman, 64, to a Tulsa hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

OHP troopers arrested the driver of the pickup truck, Tracy Lanier, 37, for outstanding warrants.

Lanier was not hurt in the crash.
