Man's Body Discovered In Midtown Tulsa Field

TULSA, Oklahoma -- A nurse on her way to work at Hillcrest Hospital discovered a body in a midtown Tulsa field. Tulsa police say the body of a man was discovered at about 6 a.m. Saturday at 10th and Utica.

The nurse went to check on the man who was lying in a freshly mowed field. She did not find a heartbeat and called 911.

Police say from the condition of the body, it appears to have been there for several hours.

The man was not carrying any identification. Cause of death is under investigation.
