TULSA, Oklahoma -- A Tulsa soldier was remembered Wednesday.

Friends and family held a memorial service for Private First Class Dylan Johnson Wednesday afternoon at Kirk of the Hills in Tulsa.

Johnson, 20, was a graduate of Jenks High School. He was killed by a roadside bomb in Iraq Sunday, June 26, 2011, just three weeks after he arrived in the country.

The Department of Defense says Army Private First Class Dylan J. Johnson was assigned to the 4th Squadron, 9th Cavalry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, out of Fort Hood, Texas.

Private Johnson's family says he will be buried at Arlington National Cemetery later this summer.
