OHP: Falling To Sleep May To Be Blame For Tulsa County Highway Crash

The OHP says the driver was southbound in the 8400 block at about 1:45 a.m. and drove off the road into the median, causing the truck to roll over and come to rest on its wheels.

TULSA, Oklahoma -- The Oklahoma Highway Patrol believes a driver of a pickup truck fell asleep at the wheel and drove off the road Tuesday morning on U.S. Highway 75.

The OHP says the driver was southbound in the 8400 block of 75 when he and drove off the road into the median, causing the truck to roll over and come to rest on its wheels.

The crash happened at about 1:45 a.m.

The driver was taken to a Tulsa hospital to be checked out for minor injuries.
