Tulsa Restaurant Worker Robbed, Pistol Whipped

A man taking out the trash at a Tulsa restaurant was pistol whipped and robbed shortly after midnight Sunday.

TULSA, Oklahoma -- A man taking out the trash at a Tulsa restaurant was pistol whipped and robbed shortly after midnight Sunday. The victim was approached by a Hispanic man wearing a black T-shirt and black hat, carrying a black semi-automatic pistol.

The robbery took place at Los Hermanos, 12500 East 21st Street.

The suspect demanded money from the employee then hit him in the head with the pistol as the man reached for his wallet. The suspect tried to get back into the store with the victim, but the back door had closed and was locked.

There was a scuffle between the two men before the suspect fled west on 21st Street.
