TULSA, Oklahoma -- A homegrown musician will be featured at the Price Tower Arts Center's First Friday concert July 1. Musician Taylor Thompson will play the Copper Bar in the historic Bartlesville skyscraper designed by Frank Lloyd Wright.

"We are always pleased to host local bands to our line-up," said Tim Boruff, executive director for Price Tower Arts Center.

"Part of the reason we started this concert series was to provide a venue for people to enjoy new entertainers on the Bartlesville music scene."

Thompson was voted a top 100 unsigned artist by Emergenza in 2006. His debut album was recorded in 2010. Crooked Little House is available through iTunes and other online merchants.

The First Friday concert starts at 8 p.m. It is free for those over 21 to attend.
