BROKEN ARROW, Oklahoma -- Wednesday in the Indian Springs area of Broken Arrow means free lemonade.
Teagon Ford, 6, and Peyton Ford, 4, work for tips only.
Teagon Ford:"There's a tip jar, so if they want to tip they can."
Rick Wells, News On 6: "Are you makin any tips?"
Teagon Ford: "Yeah, I made thirty bucks one time."
Teagon is clearly the company spokesperson; Peyton is mostly a silent partner.
They said they have a new flavor: a mix of lemonade and raspberries. They haven't named it yet, but it's kind of a lemon-berry.
Rick Wells, News On 6: "Peyton, what's your favorite flavor?"
Peytoon Ford: "I think strawberry."
Boss lady says they don't have strawberry, just regular and raspberry.
If they run low, they make more. Inside, Teagon shared the secret to great lemonade: just enough mix and water. Peyton does the stirring.
In every case cash is going into the tip jar.
The girls have a financial plan too.
"Some of this money may go to buy more cups or maybe more raspberries or lemons," they said.
The stand is open Wednesdays from 10 until around TWO in front of the Indian Springs Animal Hospital.
