Tulsa Restaurant Robber Sought By Police

A man suspected of robbing two Tulsa restaurants within an hour of each other Monday night is being sought by police. <br /><br /><a href="http://tulsapolice.org/" target="_blank">Tulsa Police</a>

TULSA, Oklahoma -- A man suspected of robbing two Tulsa restaurants within an hour of each other Monday night is being sought by police.

Tulsa Police say at 8:30 p.m. officers were called to Church's Chicken in the 6300 block of East Admiral concerning an armed robbery.

Witnesses say the suspect, a black male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and holding a semi-automatic pistol took cash from the restaurant's cash register.

At 9:30 p.m. police say a suspect fitting the description of the Church's Chicken suspect took cash from the register at Wilson's Bar-B-Que in the 1500 block of East Apache.

In both robberies, witnesses described the suspect as being 5'11" and weighing about 160 pounds.

Anyone with information about either robbery is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
