TULSA, Oklahoma -- One Tulsa firefighter was injured in a business fire that took two hours to get under control overnight Saturday. Tulsa Firefighter Gerry Tarver said crews responded to the blaze at about 1 a.m. at Refrigerated Delivery Services, 45 S. Fulton.

When firefighters arrived, they found light smoke coming from the eves of the building. Tarver said the fire was difficult to battle because doors were blocked by stacked produce boxes, causing delays in gaining access.

Once firefighters were able to get into the building, they had to work their way to the fire which was in a part of the structure that had been unoccupied for about a year.

One firefighter had burns to his hand which were not serious and could be treated at the scene.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, Tarver said.
