One Dead In Double Shooting At Midtown Tulsa Apartment Complex

TULSA, Oklahoma -- Tulsa Police are searching for a man in connection with the city's latest homicide.

The incident occurred just before 10 p.m. Wednesday near 49th and Yorktown.

Police say a man shot two people in the parking lot of the Villa At Yorktown apartments during what police believe was a drug deal.  One of the victims died after arriving at a Tulsa hospital, the other victim is expected to survive.

Their names and ages have not been released.

Tulsa Police are trying to determine how the shooting happened.

Witnesses told police the gunman was a white male, about 18 years of age with a thin build and medium height with brownish blond hair. The suspect was seen leaving in a late model Ford F-150 pickup with chrome wheels.

Witnesses say there was a white female with blond hair in the pickup.
