Police Look For Woman Who Robbed A Tulsa Bank

Tulsa police are looking for a woman they say robbed a bank Tuesday afternoon. The woman claimed she was being forced to rob the bank after a man put a bomb in her cell phone.

Tulsa Police are looking for a woman who robbed the Oklahoma Central Credit Union, 8075 S. Olympia Avenue, on Tuesday, May 31, 2011.

Police say the woman entered the bank at about 2:04 p.m.  She held a cell phone to her ear and told the teller a man in the parking lot rigged her phone with a bomb, and unless she filled her purse with money the bomb would go off.

The woman left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash. She was seen leaving the scene in a silver Malibu or Impala with no tag.

The woman is described as white, about 5'6" to 5'7" with reddish brown hair. She was wearing a green ball cap, black sunglasses, black jacket, white shirt, blue jeans and dark shoes.
