OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma -- Hundreds of Oklahomans are expected to show up at a rally in Oklahoma City on Monday supporting convicted murderer Jerome Ersland.
The rally will be held at the Reliable Pharmacy in Oklahoma City, where Ersland shot and killed a 16-year-old robber.
Supporters will be gathering signatures on a petition to free Ersland from jail.
They're hoping the petition will convince Oklahoma's Pardon and Parole Board as well as Governor Fallin to free him.
The rally is scheduled to last all day from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m.
