Each man is closing out his college career before our eyes and each man reached a milestone on Thursday.  OUs Cade Davis and OSUs Marshall Moses both passed the 1,000 point club for their college careers at the Big 12 tournament.

Their careers have had similarities.  Each player came in with a more hearalded McDonalds All American recruit.  Davis with his former AAU teammate Blake Griffin.  Moses with James Anderson.

Each saw good times and bad.  Davis was on OUs Elite 8 team of 2009, but has been a part of back to back losing seasons to close his career.  Moses went through the dismissal of Head Coach Sean Sutton, but enjoyed NCAA Tournament appearances during his sophomore and junior seasons.

I promise at some point next season Cowboys fans will say, "man it sure wouldve been nice to have a guy like Marshall Moses to throw the ball into inside."  And Sooners fans will say, "why couldnt somebody knock down a three like Cade Davis wouldve?"

Each man will be missed and appreciated most when hes gone.
