You couldnt help but have a good feeling at Thursdays press conference introducing Sean Sutton as an adviser to his brother Scotts ORU basketball staff.  It just makes sense.

Perfect school:
As ORU President Dr. Mark Rutland said, "ORU was built on a foundation of healing.  I know this new volunteer post with the Golden Eagles will be an integral part of the healing process for Sean and his future success as a coach."

Perfect town:
Sean and his family just moved to Tulsa from Stillwater.  Taking a job at a different school might require another move on their part.  Theyve been through a good deal already.

Perfect fit:
Who better to help make you feel comfortable about being around the game of basketball again than the guy who you went one-on-one with in the driveway growing up?  The guy who was your best friend as kids learning about the sport.

By the way, did you know the Suttons have more combined wins than any other NCAA father-son coaching combinations:
Eddie 806
Scott 204
Sean  39
Combined  1,049

And now all three will be around the ORU program.  Perfect formula for success.
