Pat Jones' Political Correctness

Former OSU head coach and Oakland Raiders and Miami Dolphins assistant Pat Jones was a big part of the Blitz last Sunday. One could argue he’s made a rather large impact on a certain issue in Tulsa lately.

Few things rankle Coach Jones like illegally placed campaign signs, and he’s found plenty during the past few weeks. Dozens littering Riverside Drive and other areas. He’s familiar enough with the law (Ordinance 402?) that places limitations on campaign signs on public areas that he’s not shy about un-staking them himself. City Hall knows his own campaign against these signs won’t go quietly.

And good for him. Riverside looks a lot prettier this time of year when you can see the river, the trees, the landscape. The things that are meant to be there.
