What one thing is Tiger Woods dealing with that he’s never had to deal with before but must be gnawing at him like a rottweiler on a rawhide?</P>It’s not the loss of public favor.  It’s not the breakup of his marriage, though I’m sure that’s killing him as well.  It’s not missing the cut in one tournament and withdrawing from another. </P> It’s one simple, but powerful thing.  Something that’s difficult for all of us, particularly those who have been successful at world-class levels, to deal with.</P>Failure.</P>And, more specifically, failure at the one thing in his life that has been a constant since Tiger’s dad put a club in his hand.  When his dad was sick in 2005, Tiger turned to golf and won his 4th Masters.</P>With his life in disarray, Tiger has turned to golf and his game and body have failed him.</P>Some accept failure and lower their goals and expectations.  I don’t expect that from Tiger.  </P>  </P><BR/>May 26th, 2011
