So its on to the playoffs and the top-seeded Lakers for the eighth-seeded Thunder.  Since the playoffs expanded to 16 teams in 1984, an 8 seed has beaten a 1 seed on only three occasions:  In 1994 the Nuggets upset the Sonics.  In 1999 the Knicks extinguished the Heat.  And in 2007 the Warriors shot down the Mavericks.Thats 3 wins in 52 series by an 8 seed over a 1 seed.  6 percent of the time.  More factoids such as this coming up on our Thunder playoff special at 6:30 Friday on News 9.
