I hope that everyone gets to watch the Super Bowl here on News 9 Sunday.  I have a special package on former OSU defensive back Jacob Lacey on the Blitz following the Super Bowl.

His is an amazing story.  Lacey was undrafted in the NFL draft last April, but signed on as a free agent with the Colts in July.  He not only made the roster, but has started 9 games this season and will likely start the Super Bowl.

Photojournalist Stan Chase and I went to Jacob’s high school, Naaman Forest in Garland, Texas to catch up with his mother, former administrators and students.

He’s a terrific young man and a role model and I hope everyone has a chance to see the Blitz or look at the package here on Oklahoma Sports.  Thanks to everyone down there at Naaman Forest for their cooperation.

We also went to South Grand Prairie high school to catch up with former Sooner defensive tackle Remi Ayodele who will be playing for the Saints in the Super Bowl.  Look for that one as well here on Oklahoma Sports.
