Will the Cowboys give up running the ball?
Is their reign atop the Big 12 rushing stats gone for good?
Will it look like Mike Leach has taken over the play-calling in Stillwater?
And with that in mind, is a quick check of the electrical closets at Boone Pickens Stadium needed?
All questions asked perhaps in the wake of the news that Dana Holgerson is OSU’s new offensive coordinator. Holgerson comes from Houston after having spent time under Leach in Lubbock. He’s described as a terrific offensive mind, one who has tweaked the Tech attack while coaching the Cougar offense to some gaudy numbers with Case Keenum running the show. Heavy on the pass, with undersized but blindingly fast receivers, but don’t forget Houston rushed for more than 150 yards in the upset of OSU in September, and the Cougars averaged a lot more per game on the ground than Tech did while he was in Lubbock.
