The Paper Trail Problem

First at Jenks, now at Booker T Washington High School. Ineligible players, forfeited games. And a constant thread? Not enough proper paperwork. TPS Superintendent Dr Keith Ballard and Jenks Superintendent Dr Kirby Lehman each say it's more of a lack of attention to detail. Detractors say otherwise.

I ran into a former athletic director at one of the state's most prominent 6A schools the other day, before the BTW story came to light. He told me if there's one thing you have to do it's document, make sure the paperwork is thorough and up to date.

Funny in a way how the issues at Booker T and Jenks came to a head not because of a paper trail, but the absence of one.
