Cowboys Capture Second Straight from Missouri
Oklahoma State continues to maintain its pace in Big 12 play with the win over the Tigers.

STILLWATER, Oklahoma -- The Oklahoma State Cowboys ensured their third consecutive conference series win Saturday with a 4-1 win over the Missouri Tigers Saturday.
OSU (23-8, 7-5) pitcher Brad Propst (5-1) kept the Tigers’ (13-18, 1-6) offense in check for most of the contest, giving up just one earned run on five hits and striking out six in a complete-game performance. His only earned run came on a solo home run from Blake Brown to tie the game in the top of the third.
Missouri’s Matt Stites (1-2) was credited with a loss for the outing, giving up three earned runs on eight hits in his seven innings of service.
Oklahoma State drew first blood in the bottom of the second with Davis Duren scoring on a fielding error in center field.
Five innings later tied 1-1, Nico Rosthenhausler singled down the left side to score Gabe Weidnaar to take a 2-1 lead. Two at-bats later, Rosehtnhausler scored on a wild pitch to take a two-run lead. Zach Johnson added an insurance run in the bottom of the eighth by scoring on another wild pitch to take a 4-1 lead.
The Cowboys will go for their first conference series sweep at 1 p.m. Sunday.
