Cowboys Launch 4 Homers for 12-7 Win over Nebraska
Oklahoma State put up eight runs -- including four homers -- in the second inning to help the Cowboys to a 12-7 win over the Cornhuskers.

LINCOLN, Nebraska -- The Oklahoma State Cowboys hit four homers in an eight-run second inning against Nebraska, earning their first win of the three-game series in the 12-7 win.
OSU starter Mike Strong (3-0) pitched five innings and gave up six runs on seven hits while striking out six Cornhusker batters.
The Cowboys (20-6, 4-3 Big 12) won their fourth straight after tagging Matt Freeman (4-2) for eight runs in 1 1/3 innings.
Freeman struck out three straight to open the game, then got shelled in the second inning. Jared Womack and Davis Duren hit back-to-back homers leading off, Gabe Weidenaar slugged a two-run homer and Devin Shines also connected.
Womack homered again in the fourth, and Shines finished with four RBIs.
Cory Burleson homered twice and drove in four runs and Kale Kiser also went deep for the Huskers (18-10, 1-3).
