STILLWATER, Okla. –OSU received a commitment from high school point guard Cezar Guerrero, Oklahoma Sports confirmed Monday.

He was regarded as one of the top remaining unsigned players in the country.

Rivals.com recruiting service ranks Guerrero, who attends St. John Bosco High School in Bellflower, Calif., as the 14th-best point guard in the country and 61st-best player overall.

Scout.com has Guerrero listed as the No. 25 point guard nationally.

Guerrero chose the Cowboys over Iowa, Miami and Oklahoma. He visited Stillwater at the end of February.

He averaged 28 points for St. John Bosco this season and reached the 40-point mark several times.

Oklahoma State had several scholarship spots open with the departure of point guard Ray Penn and the parting of ways with Juco signee Karron Johnson.

Guerrero joins five-star forward LeBryan Nash as the only two commitments for the Cowboys’ 2011 signing class.
