Oklahoma Named Six Seed in NCAA Tournament
The Sooners will face off against James Madison in the first round of the NCAA Women's Championship.

NORMAN, Oklahoma -- The Oklahoma Women's basketball team has been given the six seed in the Dayton Regional of the NCAA Women’s Championship.
The Sooners finished fourth in the Big 12 regular season after a 21-11 campaign, before being bounced in the second round of the conference tournament by Texas A&M.
Oklahoma has made the NCAA Tournament in every season since the year 2000, making it as far as the championship game in 2002 it lost to Connecticut 80-72. The Sooners are one of six Big 12 teams in the tournament, and are joined by rival Texas in the Dayton Regional.
The Sooners will take on No. 11 James Madison at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in Charlottesville, Virginia.
