Oklahoma State Baseball Wins Third Straight
The Cowboys shutout St. Gregory’s to take its third straight win and forth shutout of the season.

STILLWATER, Okla. – The Oklahoma State baseball team won its third-straight game, beating St. Gregory's 7-0.
The shutout is OSU’s fourth of the season and every Cowboy starter had at least one hit in the game.
On the mound, the Oklahoma State pitching staff combined for 10 strikeouts and allowed just five hits.
The Cowboys got the scoring started in the first off an RBI single from Luis Uribe then in the second, another RBI single from Saulyer Saxon put the Pokes up but two. Saxon’s RBI was the first of the freshman center fielder’s career.
The bats continued to connect in the third inning as OSU rallied for four runs on four hits. Oklahoma State led off with a double by Davis Duren, then Zach Johnson also doubled to give OSU the 3-0 advantage.
Later in the third Jared Womack hit the inning’s third double to bring in two more runs. The final run in the third frame came on a single by Gabe Weidenaar.
The Cowboys completed its 7-0 shutout in the fourth inning on an RBI double by Dane Phillips.
Oklahoma State hosts New Mexico for a three-game series this weekend starting on Friday at 6:30 p.m. inside Allie P. Reynolds Stadium.
