TULSA, Okla. -- The Oral Roberts Golden Eagles had a nice little tune-up before getting ready to defend their top seed in the conference tournament next week.
ORU had no trouble with the IUPUI Jaguars, coasting to a 96-66 victory on Monday at the Mabee Center.
Junior Jordan Pyle posted 20 points and seven boards for the Golden Eagles, surpassing the 1,000-point mark for her career.
Oral Roberts did not take long to assert itself, using an early 13-0 run to take a 19-7 lead.
The Golden Eagles led by 24 at the break and led by as many as 35 in the game.
ORU continued its trend of forcing an obscene amount of turnovers from its opposition, this time pressuring the Jaguars into 34.
ORU racked up 22 steals as a team, seven of which came from guard Kevi Luper, who also led all scorers with 29.
Georgia Jones and Christian Key both scored in double digits as well for the Golden Eagles.
They finished out Summit League play 15-2 (20-9 overall) and will take a well-earned top seed in next week's conference tournament.
ORU will start the tournament by taking on the No. 8 seed Western Illinois on Saturday in Sioux Falls, S.D. Tip is set for Noon.
The Golden Eagles have faced Western Illinois twice this season, winning by two points on Dec. 2 and by 26 on Feb. 26.
