OKLAHOMA CITY -- Fans started gathering in front of the Oklahoma City Arena before 4 p.m. Tuesday, in hopes of scoring some of the last remaining tickets to the Thunder/Clippers game.
Both Clippers and Thunder fans filed outside the ticket box office, some there to see Oklahoma City, some there to see Blake Griffin and his Clippers.
“I didn’t get to see him play when he was here at Oklahoma, so I wanted to see him here,” said one Thunder fan.
Some had traveled from Kansas City, where they don’t have an NBA basketball team, while others were local. Griffin, who attended the University of Oklahoma and went to Santa Fe High School in Edmond, stopped by to sign autographs for his in-state fans.
