OU Softball Ranked No. 6, OSU No. 18

OKLAHOMA CITY—The Oklahoma Sooners softball team made the USA Softball national rankings this week at No. 6 while Oklahoma State ranks No. 18.

Seven Big 12 schools made it into the Top 25 this week with Texas coming in at No. 12 followed by Missouri at No. 15, Texas tech at No. 19, Texas A&M at No. 21 and Nebraska at No. 22.

Arizona received eight first place votes to take the top spot this week.

Ironically, Oklahoma run ruled Arizona 11-1 earlier this month to give the Wildcats their only loss of the season.

OSU returns to the field Thursday in the Cathedral City Classic in Palm Springs California against UC Santa Barbara at Noon while Oklahoma is playing in the same tournament and will take on Georgia at 5 p.m.
