Cowboys Blow Past Bryant Again for Series Sweep
OSU won the three-game series by a combined score of 29-1.

STILLWATER, Okla.- The Oklahoma State baseball team defeated Bryant 8-1 Sunday in its third straight blowout to start the season.
The Cowboys (3-0) started the scoring in the third inning with a three-run homer for Zach Johnson, which began a streak of four straight innings in which OSU scored.
Gabe Weidenaar drove one home in the fourth inning with a sacrifice fly, Johnson scored thanks to a balk in the fifth, Mark Ginther led off the sixth with a home run and Johnson drove home another run later in the inning with a sacrifice fly to put OSU up 7-0.
Kevin Brown launched a home run in the eighth inning, giving Bryant (0-3) its first run of the season after OSU shut out the Bulldogs in each of the first two games. Weidenaar drove home a run with his second sacrifice fly of the day in the bottom of the eighth to finish the scoring.
The Cowboys used three pitchers, who combined to give up one run on eight hits. Jason Hursh was credited with the win after giving up five hits in six innings of work.
OSU dominated all three games of the season-opening series, beating Bryant by a combined score of 29-1. The Cowboys will remain in Stillwater for five more games in a row, starting with a midweek at 4 p.m. Tuesday against Dallas Baptist.
