TULSA, Oklahoma – The Tulsa Oilers have been playing some outstanding hockey recently. And if you’ve gone to one of their games recently, odds are you’ve seen some goals.

The Oilers have won their last two games by a combined score of 16-6. And their high-powered offense struck again on Friday night when they hosted Laredo.

It was actually the Bucks that struck first, with Jeff Bes squeezing one into the net less than 6 minutes into the game. And then the Oilers got going.

Chad Costello led the way for Tulsa with 2 goals and an assist. But he wasn’t the only one who had a big night. Jack Combs, Evan Kotsopoulos, and Gary Steffes all had 2 points apiece. And the Oilers stay red hot, beating Laredo 6-1.

Tulsa is now 20-18-1 and they are closing in on 3rd place in the Berry Conference. Tulsa will be right back on the ice tomorrow night when they play in Texas.
