Sooner Women Slam Arkansas Pine-Bluff
The Oklahoma women’s team set multiple season highs in their route of the Lady Lions.

NORMAN, Oklahoma— The University of Oklahoma women had a record-setting evening on the hardwood against Arkansas Pine-Bluff as the Sooners won 118-52.
OU set new season-highs in points, turnovers, steals and assists and also tied a school record with 16 3-pointers. The Sooners had 27 assists, forced 36 turnovers and grabbed 21 steals.
Morgan Hook earned her first start on the year and added 21 points and a career-high six steals on the evening.
Freshman Arryn Ellenberg scored 29 points while Danielle Robinson added 21 points, nine assists and five steals for Oklahoma (10-2).
Overall, ten different players scored for Oklahoma, who led by 27 at the halftime break.
Arkansas Pine-Bluff came out with a 4-1 lead, but from there on it was all OU.
The Sooners forced 12 turnovers on the next 18 Lady Lions' possessions and went on a 19-2 in seven minutes.
The Arkansas Pine-Bluff Lady Lions were led by Chigoziany Okwumabua who scored 15 points while Laquisha Slaton scored 11 and Jenise Gentry added 10.
It is reported that Whitney Hand will take the floor for the Sooners next game against TCU on Sunday.
Hand has been out since last season when she tore her ACL just five games into the season. She began practicing again Dec. 26 and is eager to take the court again, especially in Fort Worth, her home town.
Oklahoma will tip off against the Horned Frogs at 5:00 p.m.
