Tulsa Misses Clutch Shots, Falls to Wichita State

WICHITA, Kansas -- The Tulsa Golden Hurricane couldn’t pull through on last-second shots, falling to the Wichita State Shockers, 82-79.
Tulsa slides to 5-6 on the season after missing the two 3-point shots in the final 10 seconds. TU’s Justin Hurtt led all scorers with 30 points, while teammate Bryson Pope recorded a new career high 16 point game. Scottie Haralson added 15. Overall, the Golden Hurricane shot 27 of 53 from the field and 14 of 27 from the 3-point arc.
The Shockers were lead by David Kyles, who scored 19 points, while teammate Aaron Ellis added 10.
The Tulsa Golden Hurricane will next host UTSA on Dec. 23 at 7:05 p.m.
