Strong Fourth Quarter Propels Thunder to Win

CHARLOTTE, North Carolina -- The Oklahoma City Thunder recorded its 20th win of the season on the road, beating the Charlotte Bobcats 99-81.

The Thunder’s strong fourth quarter presence proved to be the nail in the coffin for the Bobcats, as OKC outscored Charlotte 31-12. Kevin Durant finished with 32 points, while Russell Westbrook posted 15. Jeff Green dished out five assists and Nick Collison had 10 boards with seven points.

The team landed 30 of its 36 free throw attempts, continuing to lead the league by hitting 84.8 percent of their shots at the charity line. The Thunder hit seven of their 16 attempts from the three-point line.

The Bobcats were led by Stephen Jackson, who recorded 20 points for Charlotte. Teammate Boris Diaw added 13 points and eight assists.

The Thunder will play the New York Knicks in the Big Apple Wednesday before hosting the Denver Nuggets on Christmas Day.
