Oklahoma City Barons players talk about hockey, staying healthy and staying in school with students at Fillmore Elementary School.

OKLAHOMA CITY -- A wide-eyed group of students from Fillmore Elementary listened to a pair of Oklahoma City Barons Tuesday. Shawn Belle and Jake Taylor were more than willing to talk to more than 100 kids about the importance of school, staying healthy and of course, the sport of hockey.

Most of the questions asked during the short assembly dealt with hockey. Some lucky students even had the chance to try on a Barons uniform.

"This is the time when a lot of guys started playing hockey, so anytime you can get out there and talk to kids, they are always excited, it's a lot of fun," Taylor said.

The Barons return to the ice Friday against Hamilton at the Cox Center.
