Tulsa Women Fall to Drexel 64-47
The Golden Hurricane fall to 2-3 on the season with the lost on the road against Drexel.

PHILADELPHIA—The Tulsa Women’s basketball team traveled to Philadelphia to take on Drexel, but at the end of the night came up short with a 64-47 loss to the Dragons.
Despite Taleya Mayberry’s team-high 12 points and four steals, the Golden Hurricane struggled in shooting on the night making only nine percent from three point range, and 30 percent from the field.
Drexel came out hot with a three pointer by Kamile Nacickaite just seven seconds into the game.
Midway through the half the Hurricane had only scored eight points to Drexel’s 15.
The Dragons went on a 15-3 run in the final six minutes of the half to lead 34-14 at the break.
Kara Vaughan helped the Hurricane with nine points and nine rebounds.
In the second half the Hurricane did cut the lead to seven after a 26-13 run, but the Dragons battled and rounded out the game on a 17-7 run to take them to the victory.
Kamile Nacickaite led the scoring for Drexel with 20 points seven rebounds and four assists.
The Dragons are now 5-0 on the season, the best start in program history, while TU moves to 2-3.
Tulsa will return to the court in Philadelphia Sunday Dec. 5 against LaSalle at 12 p.m. CT.
