STILLWATER, Oklahoma -- The Oklahoma State Cowboys won their fourth consecutive home game Wednesday with a 69-57 win over the Central Arkansas Bears.
The Cowboys got the job done with efficiency on the floor, despite their early struggles.
In the opening 20 minutes, OSU only managed 29 points against their Southland Conference opponent, shooting 14-of-35 from the floor. Despite its offensive struggles, the Cowboys held Central Arkansas to just eight field goals in the first half to hold a 29-23 lead at halftime.
Oklahoma State’s offense picked up in the closing half, hitting on half of its shots in the final 20 minutes en route to a 40-point output. The Bears’ struggles continued from the floor, hitting 32 percent of their shots from the floor, but hit six three-pointers in the second half to stay in the game.
Keiton Page scored 17 points in the contest, despite only hitting only 25 percent of his shots from the floor. He did convert on all 10 of his attempts from the charity stripe to score in double-digits. Marshall Moses chipped in with a double-double of his own, scoring 15 and grabbing 11 rebounds, while Jean-Paul Olukemi added 15 points coming off the bench.
The Cowboys will travel to Philadelphia to take on the La Salle Explorers at 12 p.m. Saturday to try to extend their win streak to three.
