Beal and Taylor Receive Don Key Award
Oklahoma’s Jeremy Beal and Adrian Taylor have received the top football honors at OU.

NORMAN, Oklahoma—Oklahoma defensive back Jeremy Beal and defensive tackle Adrian Taylor are both earning awards not only for their play on the field, but also for their leadership and work in the classroom.
Beal and Taylor have been awarded the 2010 Don Key Award, which is the highest football honor a player can receive at OU. The award recognizes the senior(s) who most exemplify excellence on the field and in the classroom.
Beal leads the Sooners in tackles for loss with 16 and sacks with 7.5.
Taylor, a senior from Mansfield Texas has 12 tackles and one sack so far this season.
Regardless of their numbers on the field, both players are respected and admired by fellow players and coaches alike.
Both players have shown their reliability, hard work and dedication to the team during their years at OU which made them perfect candidates for this award.
Beal is majoring in multidisciplinary studies while Taylor is sociology major.
The Sooners travel to Baylor Saturday to take on the Bears at 7 p.m. on ESPN 2.
