OKLAHOMA CITY -- The Academy of Contemporary Music at the University Central Oklahoma collaborated with the Oklahoma City Thunder to produce Rumble Rocks, the new anthem for the 2009 Mascot of the Year.
UCO students served as vocalists, musicians and producers on the track and got help from a star Mark King of the Oklahoma City based band Hinder, when putting it together. The track was written by King and Thunder Events and Entertainment Director John Leach.
Other musical credits include Luke Crabtree on vocals, Michael Bewley on bass, Brian McKinny on percussion and Rumble the Bison himself on drums with Tyler Garcia serving as producer and engineer.
The music video for the track debuted during the Thunder’s game against the Spurs and can be viewed at http://ht.ly/39S3v and the mp3 is available for download at http://ht.ly/39S3v.
