STILLWATER, Oklahoma -- The Oklahoma State Cowboys released their 2011 schedule Tuesday, the first year of the Big 12 conference without Nebraska and Colorado.
OSU will play six home and six road games, the road schedule including trips to Texas and Texas Tech as part of the new 10-team conference schedule.
The Cowboys will open the season Sept. 3 hosting Louisiana-Lafayette and will welcome the Arizona Wildcats – of the newly formed Pac-12 Conference – to Stillwater Sept. 10. Oklahoma State will cap off its non-conference schedule Sept. 17 with a visit to Tulsa, marking the first time the teams have met since 2000.
Oklahoma State will once again open conference play against Texas A&M, and will travel to Texas for the second consecutive season. In addition, the Bedlam Game will take place in Stillwater for the second straight season because of the Big 12’s new rotating, nine-game conference schedule.
The Cowboys will take on Baylor Oct. 29 for homecoming.
