Oklahoma City Records Third Win with Shutout
The Barons streak continued Tuesday, capitalizing on two of their four power plays in the win.

OKLAHOMA CITY -- The Oklahoma City Barons notched their third consecutive win Tuesday with a 3-0 win over the Lake Erie Monsters.
After a scoreless first period, defenseman Shawn Belle capitalized on the assists from Brad Moran and Alexandre Giroux to take a 1-0 lead on a power play goal.
Liam Reddoux added to the lead with a goal in the closing moments of the second period to give Oklahoma City a two-goal lead going into intermission.
In the eighth minute of the third, Giroux got in on the scoring on a power play goal to take a 3-0 lead.
Goalie Martin Gerber (2-3) recorded the Barons’ first clean sheet of the season, recording 35 saves against the Monsters. Lake Erie’s Joason Bacashihua (1-2) came away with 27 saves on the night, but allowed three goals in the loss.
