YUKON, Oklahoma -- The Oklahoma City Thunder held an open scrimmage Friday, just before the Yukon High School football game.
Russell Westbrook and Jeff Green were on the white team, while Kevin Durant led the Blue team. The Blue team won it 57-53, but the real winners were the 3,000 fans in the stands.
“We had a lot of fan getting the fans to come out and see the team this year,” Green said.
The team made their way to the Millers’ football field. Durant flipped the opening coin toss and the team led the Yukon Millers on to the field.
The Millers went on to beat the Norman North Timberwolves, 35-17.
