TU's Fitzpatrick Receives Conference USA Honor

IRVING, Texas – Tulsa Golden Hurricane kicker Kevin Fitzpatrick was named Conference USA’s Special Teams Player of the Week for his performance against the Bowling Green Falcons.

Fitzpatrick connected on 4-of-4 field goals and made all three extra points against Bowling Green.

His 15 points were crucial in Tulsa’s 13-point victory. His field goals came from distances of 23, 27, 34 and 46 yards.

Fitzpatrick, a preseason first-team All-Conference USA kicker is 5-of-6 on field goals and 7-of-7 on extra points to lead the team in scoring through two games.

The Golden Hurricane heads to Oklahoma State this Saturday to take on the Cowboys at 6:05 p.m.
