Frisco took an early 1-0 lead in the top of the second on an Elio Sarmiento grounded out to second to bring Andy Jenkins home from second. The Drillers answered in the top of the fourth with a Scott Beerer two-run home run.
The Rough Riders took the lead in the top of the sixth with a two-run home run by Andy Jenkins and a RBI single two at-bats later.
Bruce Billings (9-6) was credited with a win for his one-inning outing, not allowing a single hit in his appearance. After allowing three hits and two earned runs in his one-third inning pitched, Tyler Tufts (0-2) earned a loss and his first blown save of the year.
