OKLAHOMA CITY -- Former Oklahoma State head coach Sean Sutton made his first media appearance Sunday on the Blitz since his sentencing Friday.
Sutton spoke to Dean Blevins and John Holcomb about overcoming his addiction to prescription drugs, rehabilitation centers and the importance of the support of fans and well-wishers. He touched on the importance of being able to ask for help and needing a support structure.
The former Cowboys’ head coach was sentenced to three years of probation, 100 hours of community service and $2,850 in fines after an arrest in February for attempting to illegally obtain prescription drugs.
Sutton spoke publicly for the first time since his arrest Friday.
